The essential tool for water rescue is the ResQmax™ line thrower. Varied in its applications, the ResQmax™ can throw a wide variety of lines up to 400 feet/ 122m. Because the ResQmax™ is a non-pyrotechnic line thrower, it does not require special storage, shipping, or licensing. This pneumatic line thrower replaces traditional pyrotechnic line guns with an intrinsically safe option. The system is fueled by compressed air and the components can be reused, making line throwing training an inexpensive operation.

Kit 410 - ResQmax Line Deployment Kit
The ResQmax Kit 410 is a Line Deployment Kit supplied with two payloads and all the accessories required to operate your ResQmax. The Dacron Line is a messenger line which allows for long range horizontal deployment distances of 400ft / 104m. This line can be used to tow larger, stronger ropes across a canyon, river, or other large distance which can not easily be accessed by foot. The Polyspectra Line is a well suited for water-based applications because it floats. This line has a stronger test strength and due to its increased weight, has a deployment distance of 275ft / 84m.
Kit 410 comes complete with spares and a Kit Carry Bag for easy transport and storage. The ResQmax Streamline Filler Hose facilitates charging the projectiles with compressed air from an Air Compressor, a SCBA Tank, or a SCUBA Tank. The service pressure of these projectiles is 3,000psi / 207 BAR.
Optional accessories include the ResQmax Tool Kit, the Grappling Hook, and the Rigid Transport/Storage Case.
Additional projectiles and lines are available for use with all of the ResQmax Kits.

The Polypropylene Line has a stronger test strength of 1100 lbs and is intended to be used in water-based operations which require the line to float. This line, when coupled with the Sling Projectile becomes an effective way to assist a distressed swimmer who may be caught in a rip tide by delivering the ResQmax Sling with in seconds. The Auto-inflating Sling has a mechanism which inflates the sling on contact with water. The Deployment Distance of the Polypropylene Line with the Standard Projectile is about 300ft / 92m. The ResQmax Streamline Filler Hose facilitates charging the Projectiles with compressed air from an Air Compressor, a SCBA Tank, or a SCUBA Tank. The service pressure of these Projectiles is 3,000psi / 207 BAR. This kit comes complete with spares and a Kit Carry Bag for easy carrying.
